Mary F. Cavanagh

I am an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa’s ALA-accredited School of Information Studies. I hold a  Ph.D. in Information from the University of Toronto (2009).

I teach courses in resource discovery, information and the law, knowledge in organizations, information credibility, and research methods. My research interests include the evolving world of information organizations (e.g., libraries) particularly online through information relationships and information interactions, use of social media, and community engagement.
