I am an assistant professor at the University of Ottawa’s School of Information Studies. I hold a B.A.(Hons.) from the University of Regina (1985), an M.L.I.S. from the University of Western Ontario (1986) and a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto (2009).
I teach courses related to the social context of information, knowledge management and organizational learning, information seeking and use, program evaluation, information ethics and research methods. My research interests include action-nets, practice theory and organizational learning, information organizations, information relationships and interactions.
